The QC Co-lab is the first and only independent 'makerspace' (sometimes referred to as a hackerspace or projectspace) in the Quad Cities area. Formed by local technology enthusiasts and entrepreneurs, the space hopes to become an extension of the already thriving center for art and technology that is the Quad Cities.  The QC Co-Lab is located on the Hamilton Technical College campus at 1033 East 53rd Street in Davenport, Iowa.  The 4000sq ft space space includes a classroom, recording studio, library, conference room, kitchen, and workshop space, and is accessible 24-hours a day for dues-paying membersThe QC Co-Lab also anticipates hosting events open to the public and is available in part or its entirety for organizations and groups.
