Talks
The slots below will be for people to sign up for their talk. You may either sign up for The Conference Room or the classroom.
Fireside Chats
These will run from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Saturday. Speakers will sign up on a whiteboard and be allotted 5 minutes with 0 slides.
Major Talks
These will run from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Saturday. Speakers will have access to a projector and whiteboard.
Presentation Guidelines
The projector wil be configured to run with a provided computer running Ubuntu Desktop 10. Presenters will not be allowed to connect their personal computers to the projector to keep the presentation system simple. OpenOffice Impress will be installed for slides, so make sure your slideshow is formatted properly in it. Slides must be approved and submitted on or before September 15th at 11:59 PM for layout and compatibility testing. You may also use PDFs, Word Processor documents, or any other format that opens natively in Ubuntu Desktop 10 and/or OpenOffice without additional software for your presentation.
