I have found that if the studio computer sits for too long, audio out from the M-Audio 410 will cease to function.  Simply power cycling the M-Audio Firewire 410 restores the unit back to full functionality. --Cody Wilson

Overview

The QC Co-Lab has an audio/video recording studio that can be used for podcasting, how-to video creation, and other fun uses.

Training Requirement

The studio does not have a training requirement, however, it is encouraged for those new to audio and video production to sit down with a trainer to learn the various functions of the hardware and to receive some basic instruction in the various applications on the studio workstation. Please contact Cody Wilson or Keith Claussen to inquire about training.

Capabilities

    • Studio workstation is connected to an M-Audio Fastrack 410 Firewire audio device. A number of various microphones are available and can be used with the 410 unit. Booth headphones are currently connected to the 410 for local monitoring.
